Our office is an independent family owned and operated business run by mother daughter team Robyn and Laura Dewar-Oldis. We pride ourselves on personalised and professional Management Services. Bedford Dewar Real estate has been in operation since July 1994 when Robyn decided to go into business for herself in a partnership. Robyn is a fully licenced estate agent who has been involved in Real Estate Industry since 1987. Laura commenced working in the family business at age 16 working part time, then moving on to admin/rental support role for 5 years before commencing a Property Manager position 10 years ago. The business is now taking a new direction and has transcended into what is a first for the Banyule and surrounds area. A dedicated Management Agency with a specialist and experienced team at the helm. Our newly built local studio office provides for modern and comfortable facilities which comfortably accommodates our daily activities as well as our Owners Corporation Meetings.

Robyn Dewar-Oldis is a proud mum of 2 and grandmother of 5. Robyn’s total professionalism and sheer determination have been key factors to her success in a very competitive vocation. Another outstanding assistor is the local knowledge she possesses, as Robyn has been a local resident for all her life and been actively involved in many community activities and services stemming from early on in her life. Robyn also served the Rosanna Traders Association as its President from 2002 – 20010. In recent years Robyn has been formally recognised for her active service to the community by receiving a State Government award ‘ Certificate Of Appreciation’ – service to the community, from The Sardinian Cultural Association a ‘Certificate Of Participation and Appreciation’ for services and involvement on their community project the graffiti mural entitled ‘The continuing Journey’, Another State Government Award, The Hon. Laura Dewar-Oldis is the proud mother of 3 children, with the eldest 2 children at the local primary school. She enjoys juggling running her own business with looking after them along with her partner. She is an active member of the community volunteering on both hobby and school fundraising committees and events. She also ran a successful dancing school in Rosanna for many years being extremely passionate about dance and the arts. She holds a TAAD Diploma of Teaching (Dance) as well as a working with Children Licence and the covenanted Elly Lukas Diploma. She has an Agents Representative licence with the REIV as well as Level 4 in Office Administration Certificate. Most recently she also completed a pre-veterinary course to compliment her love for animals. She is passionate, dedicated and hardworking to achieve her goals.

Laura takes pride in her attention to detail, thorough communication and customer service, believing these are the most important aspects of running a business as well as the ability to resolve issues quickly.
